A new requested feature was recently added. As part of the workflow that sends a confirmation after booking a Carpet Cleaning service the email can now contain an ICS file. The ICS file provides a universal method to add events to iCal and other Calendar schema. Today, iCalendar is used to import and synchronize events on various platforms, including smart phones, computer and web applications.  Web applications include Microsoft Office 365, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Yahoo Calendar. The customer just opens the file to automatically add it to their preferred calendar. SMS does not support attachments, just media or links so we have not added the file to SMS. We may decide later to publish the ICS file temporarily then refer to the URL in the SMS. This is not a high priority though since the SMS already has fields that facilitate easy additional of the context to iCal. This additional feature has many possibilities as described in the iCalendar specifications.
